Jack Sullivan Wins in Open Wheel Modified at Batesville for Race for Hope 74 Tune-up
Hopping behind the wheel of the Bad Bow Moyers #23 Keyser Manufacturing/Larry Shaw Modified, Jack Sullivan was one of 21 cars signed in at Batesville Motor speedway (Batesville, Arkansas) on Friday evening preparing for the 2nd annual Race for Hope 74. Following the second fastest time in qualifying behind Chad Mallett, Sullivan scored a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Keith Hammett locking his spot into the A-Main. Holding off Drew Armstrong in the 20-lap affair, Jack Sullivan streaked to his sixth win of the season outrunning Armstrong, Curtis Cooks, Shawn Walsh, and Ricky Engles Jr. to the line. The following night brought Jack to Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Missouri) for the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctioned contest. Earning the 13th-starting position for the $3,000-to-win A-Main via preliminary events, Sullivan gained 12 spots in the 40-lapper notching a runner-up finish behind Payton Looney with Gavin Landers, Hunter Rasdon, and Cole Wells completing the Top-5 finishers.
